Thursday a.m. Rangers stuff

Texas has gone 2-7 over their last 9 games, and the Seattle Mariners are now just a game back of the Rangers.  I'm ready for this road trip to be over.

T.R. Sullivan's game story has quotes from Ron Washington and Derek Holland, both of whom were dissatisfied with Holland's performance yesterday.

Jeff Wilson's game story talks about Holland following a recent trend among Ranger starters, who have failed to get the job done of late.

Grant writes that the Rangers may need to consider moving Holland to the bullpen, although it is behind the paywall, so I'm not sure what the basis for that would be.
