Shortstop is the one position where the Rangers don't really have anyone who could fill in for a significant length of time -- Andres Blanco is fine as utility infielder, but I don't think you want him starting for several weeks in a row, and there's not really anyone in the organization who could replace Blanco in that UIF role.
