Derek Holland wasn't very good.
That said, as a man who has been known to be upset at the work of the umpires from time to time, I'm not sure that I've ever seen a more terrible overall display of bad umpiring than I did in this series. I would say this game specifically but we can't forget that this is an umpiring crew that forgot the balls and strikes count yesterday and missed the fact that a batter had drawn a walk. Just abhorrent work all around, fellas. I'm sure you'll be getting a thumbs up from Major League Baseball soon.
I don't want to say the Rangers are getting boned more often by the umpires this season than I've seen in previous seasons, but the Rangers are getting boned more often by the umpires this season than I've seen in previous seasons.
*I don't want to say the umpires cost the Rangers this game, but the umpires are probably responsibly for childhood obesity and Ke$ha.
