28 years ago today, Kansas City Chiefs running back Joe Delaney died while trying to rescue two boys from drowning.
I did a post about this three years ago, on the 25th anniversary, and it doesn't really have to do with the Rangers.
But it is something that impacted me when it happened, and there's a lot of folks here now who weren't here three years ago, so I thought it was worth memorializing today.
