With the first and supplemental first rounds of the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft kicking off this evening, and the Rangers having two picks today, at #33 and #37, we are going to have a Texas Rangers Guess the Draft Pick contest.
In the comments section below, make your guess as to who you think the Rangers will pick at #33 and at #37. Whoever gets both picks correct will win a prize. I don't know exactly what the prize will be yet, but it will probably be something I got as a giveaway at a Ranger game. I'd use one of my Ranger bobbleheads as a prize, but the children have broken them all.
In the interest of minimizing confusion, it would help if you would put your guess in the format of:
33 -- Joe Blow
37 -- Zebra Cakes
If no one gets it exactly right, then if someone gets both the players right and reverses the order, then that person will be the winner.
Also, as with the community projections thread, I'd ask that we limit the comments to this post to being just the guesses -- we can open up a separate FanPost for commentary, if you like.
One entry per person, and your guess must be in by 5 p.m. Central, when the pre-draft show on MLB Network starts.
