Early start today as the Rangers look to take the rubber game in their series at Boston.  With the Rangers' loss and the Angels' win yesterday, the lead in the A.L. West is back to 3.5 games.

Jeff Wilson's game story talks about Colby Lewis being unhappy about being lifted in the fourth inning, and also being unhappy with home plate umpire Gary Darling, as Lewis felt he had gotten Jarrod Saltamacchia looking for strike three before allowing the game-tying homer to Salty.

T.R. Sullivan says in his game story that the Rangers' pitching "imploded" in the fourth inning.
