Jonathan Mayo has put out a top 100 prospect list for mlb.com, a list that starts off with Matt Moore at #1 and ends with Addison Reed at #100.
Four Rangers made the top 100 list: Jurickson Profar at #7, Martin Perez at #29, Mike Olt at #43, and Leonys Martin at #89.
That order matches how those four players were ranked in the LSB Community Prospect Rankings this offseason, and are the four prospects considered most likely to crack top 100 lists,* along with Neil Ramirez.
* I'm not including Yu Darvish, because I don't really think of him as a "prospect." And apparently, neither does mlb.com.
Olt is a little higher and Martin a little lower than I would have initially expected, particularly given the helium Martin had in the midseason rankings, coming in at #25 in the Baseball America midseason top 50 prospect list.
Also noteworthy is that former Ranger prospect Robbie Erlin, who was #34 on the BA midseason top 50 list, didn't make Mayo's top 100. Erlin, of course, was packaged with Joe Wieland and sent to San Diego last July for Mike Adams.
