Ben Rowen named MiLB.com's Reliever of the Year

Rangers minor league pitcher Ben Rowen has been named Reliever of the Year by MiLB.com.

Texas Ranger minor league pitcher Ben Rowen has been named Reliever of the Year by MiLB.com.

Rowen, a righthander described by MiLB.com has a "true submarine style pitcher" who releases the ball just inches off of the ground, was a 22nd round draft choice out of Virginia Tech in the 2010 draft.

Rowen spent the 2012 season pitching for Myrtle Beach in the high-A Carolina League, and is currently pitching in the Arizona Fall League.
