Adrian Beltre received his fourth Fielding Bible Award as the best defensive third baseman in the major leagues

The Fielding Bible Awards for 2012 have been announced, and Texas Ranger third baseman Adrian Beltre was named the best defensive third baseman in major league baseball. It is the fourth time he has won the award.

The Fielding Bible Awards are voted on by a panel of experts, which include Bill James and Peter Gammons, and seek to identify the best defensive player in the major leagues at each position.

Catcher -- Yadier Molina

First base -- Mark Teixeira

Second base -- Darwin Barney

Third base -- Adrian Beltre

Shortstop -- Brendan Ryan

Left field -- Alex Gordon

Center field -- Mike Trout

Right field -- Jason Heyward
