David Price has won the 2012 American League Cy Young Award, and R.A. Dickey has won the 2012 National League Cy Young Award.

Price narrowly edged out Justin Verlander, beating him by 4 points. Price had 14 first place votes, 13 second place votes, and one third place vote, while Verlander got 13 first place votes, 13 second place votes, and two third place votes.

Jered Weaver finished third, Felix Hernandez finished fourth, and Fernando Rodney finished fifth. Matt Harrison got two fifth place votes, giving him an eighth place finish, while Yu Darvish got one fifth place vote, slotting him ninth.

Dickey, with 27 first place votes, won in a landslide over second place finished Clayton Kershaw, who had two first place votes. Gio Gonzalez, Johnny Cueto, and Craig Kimbrel finished third, fourth and fifth, and each received a first place vote.
