Morning, everybody...
Free agent catcher/1B/DH Mike Napoli is supposed to meet with the Rangers next week, as he continues to make the rounds and be wooed by teams.
Ken Rosenthal has a notes column up that talks about the Rangers' interest in Napoli, Justin Upton, and J.P. Arencibia, with Rosenthal saying that the Rangers are waiting for the D-Backs to back off on their demand for either Jurickson Profar or Elvis Andrus for Upton.
Gerry Fraley has a blog post about Jurickson Profar slumping in winter league play, and the Rangers who are playing for Licey having a difficult game at the plate yesterday.
Jeff Passan writes that the Kansas City Royals have reportedly "dangled" stud outfield prospect Wil Myers, in an effort to try to land a frontline starting pitcher. I'd love to see Myers end up in Texas, but I don't see that there's really a match there between Texas and Kansas City.
