17-6 - Rangers Defeat Jays, Yu Darvish Is Something Else

The Rangers have not lost consecutive regular season games since August 24 & 25 2011 against Boston. That's becoming ridiculous.

Which would have been more unlikely in your mind? Elvis hitting a game-tying grand slam against the Rays on Friday night, or Mitch Moreland and Craig Gentry going back-to-back off of a lefty? Somehow, the one that actually happened seems more unlikely to me.

Yu Darvish finished with 7.0 innings of four-hit baseball allowing only one run on an Edwin Encarnacion home run. That was the first home run Darvish has allowed this season. Other than that one hanging slider to Encarnacion, Darvish sparkled. Darvish finished with 9 Ks and 2 BBs while getting a lot of swinging strikes.

Yu Darvish looks like he's pretty special.
