Neftali Feliz to the disabled list, Yoshinori Tateyama being recalled

The Rangers made it to May 21 before making a change to their Opening Day 25 man roster. That change, however, is significant...

Neftali Feliz is heading to the disabled list with elbow soreness, and will be replaced on the active roster by Yoshinori Tateyama, who is being recalled from AAA.

UPDATE -- The Rangers are saying that he's being put on the disabled list for "right elbow inflammation."

Feliz has had an MRI, but there's no word on the results yet.

With Feliz sidelined, Scott Feldman will take his spot in the rotation.

Feliz did not have a good showing in his last start, walking five batters and getting pulled after just 4.2 innings. Elbow issues are always scary, and we'll just have to hope this is a minor matter, and that Feliz will be back on the active roster and in the rotation shortly.
