I couldn't watch the game last night, but following along on my phone, it seemed a bit long and annoying. But hey, a win, that's all that matters...

Drew Davison writes in his game story that it was small ball that gave the Rangers 7 runs last night...

Anthony Andro's game story sings the praises of the bullpen trio of Robbie Ross, Mike Adams, and Joe Nathan, who closed things out last night.

The Rangers' website game story says that Scott Feldman's rough start was covered for by the Ranger offense.

Richard Durrett has the "Rapid Reaction" from yesterday's game at the ESPN Dallas blog.

Gerry Fraley has his observations from last night up at the Rangers' DMN blog. Behind the paywall, Fraley writesthat all isn't well with the Rangers, despite them scoring a lot of runs lately, so don't start feeling good about the first place, most wins in baseball Rangers or anything.

John Henry writes that Matt Harrison is making a good case for an All Star appearance this year.

Zach Zaneski is an All Star this year, in the Texas League, despite going undrafted and signing with Texas as a free agent in 2008.

The S-T's notes talk about Martin Perez possibly starting on Saturday, Derek Holland's rehab appearance, and Ian Kinsler's errors.

The Rangers' website notes hit on the Saturday starter being up in the air, Holland, Wash being encouraged by Perez's first major league appearance, and Barret Loux picking up his first loss in 11 months.
