Ho hum, another Ranger win...routine stuff for the team with the best record in baseball...

Jeff Wilson's game story praises Matt Harrison and Craig Gentry for leading the Rangers to victory.

T.R. Sullivan's game story talks about how, with Joe Nathan and Mike Adams unavailable and Mark Lowe on the disabled list, the Rangers had to ride Matt Harrison for 8 innings then turn to rookie Tanner Scheppers to close it out in the 9th.

Anthony Andro writes in his game story that Harrison enhanced his All Star chances with yesterday's 8 inning, 2 run outing.

Evan Grant has his observations on last night game up at the DMN Rangers' blog. Grant also has a piece on last night's game behind the paywall.

Calvin Watkins has his Rapid Reaction at the ESPN Dallas blog.

Matt Hicks, the radio voice of the Corpus Christi Hooks, will be joining the Rangers' radio booth for tonight's game and will remain there indefinitely, while Steve Busby remains paired with Tom Grieve on the TV side while Dave Barnett is unavailable.

Sullivan's notes have a lot of notes in there, including Yu Darvish saying he doesn't feel like he is worthy of being an All Star this year, Ron Washington talking about Martin Perez's start today and Derek Holland's possible return to the rotation a week from today, and Mark Lowe's injury meaning the Rangers are going to have to rely more on Nathan and Adams.

The S-T's notes talk about Darvish and the All Star Game, Lowe to the disabled list, and Perez's start tonight.

Andro's notes talk about Perez's start and the Rangers taking batting practice inside.
