Three game series in Anaheim starts tonight. The Rangers are up six games on the Angels, so whatever happens this weekend, the Rangers are in good shape, but it sure would be nice to take two of three and end the road trip with a seven game lead.

T.R. Sullivan has a story on Derek Holland and Matt Harrison and the importance they have to the Rangers' stretch run. Some interesting quotes from Harrison, who says that Holland should have gotten the big contract because he's done more than Harrison has, with Holland saying Harrison should have gotten the big contract because he's done more than Holland has, and Harrison saying that being left off the 2010 playoff roster was the wake-up call that turned his career around.

Jeff Wilson has a piece on Mark Trumbo and Mike Trout leading the Angels' resurgence this year.

Gerry Fraley also has an article asking whether the Rangers' pitchers can handle the Trout and Trumbo duo.

Robbie Griffin writes at SBN Dallas about Ian Kinsler and Jurickson Profar landing in the FanGraphs' top 30 trade value list, as well as potential Ranger trade target Justin Upton.

And speaking of trades, Richard Durrett has five things to keep in mind as the trade deadline approaches.
