Good morning, all. Michael Young is starting at shortstop today. Commence bitching.

Drew Davison says in his game story that Yu Darvish pitched well yesterday, but not well enough to make up for the Rangers' cold bats.

The game story at the Rangers' website calls yesterday's performance one of Darvish's best of the year.

Bryan Dolgin has his Rapid Reaction at the ESPN Dallas blog.

The S-T's notes talk about Ryan Dempster missing this weekend's series (he is apparently going through a divorce and had to return to California to deal with custody-related issues), Leonys Martin's recall, and Michael Kirkman's performance.

The Rangers' website notes hit on Mike Olt getting a start at third base and Nelson Cruz getting a day off.

And...that is it, as far as links this morning. I'm guessing most of the outlets that cover the Rangers are more focused on Cowboys training camp right now, or something.
