Seven years ago today, we discussed the Rangers' move to bring up four players from AAA -- R.A. Dickey, Josh Rupe, Jason Botts, and Esteban German -- and their decision not to promote AAA infielder Ian Kinsler.

It generated what was, at the time, considered a lively and spirited discussion.
