Rangers win, A's win, the lead in the A.L. West remains 3 games. The Orioles and Yankees both lost, meanwhile, while the Rays and Angels both won, increasing the chances of a huge Wild Card pileup at season's end.

Jeff Wilson's game story talks about Yu Darvish being dominant once again, in a night where he passed the 200 strike out mark for the season, as well as Koji Uehara, who came up big while pitching for the fourth day in a row.
