After missing the last five games with a mystery ailment, Josh Hamilton is back in the lineup tonight and his ailment is no longer a mystery.
Hamilton has ocular keratitis, a condition where the cornea is impacted and vision is blurred because of "too much caffeine and sports drinks."
Hamilton is back in the lineup tonight and will be batting third while playing centerfield.
This is the first of a four game set against the Oakland A's, who are currently in second place in the A.L. West, four games back of the Rangers. Taking three of four games from Oakland would guarantee the Rangers no worse than a tie for first place in the A.L. West, and a sweep would clinch the A.L. West.
