Saturday morning Rangers news and links

USA TODAY Sports

Morning, everyone.  Are y'all fired up about Boston and St. Louis playing tonight?  Yeah, me neither...

The Rangers' website has a story on Adrian Beltre being a finalist for the A.L. Gold Glove Award for third base, as well as some info on the statistical measurement which is being used and which contributes approximately 25% towards the vote.

Evan Grant has a blog post about Beltre being named a finalist for the Gold Glove.

Richard Durrett writes that Mike Maddux is interested in managing, and in particular, is interested in the Tigers' managerial job.

Jim Callis has a piece at the Rangers' website on the team's AFL contingent, with a particular focus on catcher Jorge Alfaro.

Jeff Wilson has some notes in the S-T about Adrian Beltre being a finalist for a Gold Glove, the Rangers possibly playing in Japan, and the Orioles' interest in bullpen coach Andy Hawkins as their pitching coach.
