Now that the World Series is meandering to an end, it's worth remembering that the 2013 Texas Rangers were the only team in baseball to sweep both the Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals during this season. True champs!

Todd Wills continues the Defining Dozen series with moment No. 6: The Rangers acquire Alex Rios. Remember when Alex Rios almost hit that home run off of David Price in the tiebreaker game but Nolan had the Jet Stream turned off?

Gerry Fraley was on SportsDay On Air to talk about when the Hot Stove will start heating up for the Rangers. Fraley thinks the Rangers can't afford to sit idly by early in the offseason and we might start seeing movement at the GM meetings early next month.

MLB.com's Jonathan Mayo writes about the Arizona Fall League Fall Stars Game which will feature Ranger prospects Jorge Alfaro and Brett Nicholas.

Fraley has a blog post up about the Rangers taking a minor league flier on former Cincinnati Reds pitching prospect Kyle Lotzkar.

Finally, Wills writes about Jurickson Profar going off on Dominican Republic Winter League pitching. OUR JURS!
