Monday Morning Texas Rangers Update

It's been a week today since the Rangers season ended. Even though MLB is balls deep in playoff action, nothing is really going on in Rangerland since Mooregate cooled off.

ESPN Chicago's Jesse Rogers reports that Mike Maddux is eyeing the Chicago Cubs manager job two years after he dropped out of consideration to stay close to his family in Texas.

Gerry Fraley has a blog post up about Mike Olt still experiencing eye problems though the Cubs were said to be aware of his issues at the time they traded for him.
