Monday Morning Texas Rangers Update

The number one source for all your Jorge Alfaro shrines of worship

I wouldn't trade you for all the power hitting outfielders in the world

Adam took all the good articles yesterday and used them to post content like a responsible blogger. Now there's nothing much of note to link to out there this morning. It's quiet on the Ranger front. A little too quiet...

So, while we wait for the Rangers to trade away their middle infield, here are a couple of videos of Jorge Alfaro throwing out dudes with ease:

Word on the street is Jorge likes it when you call his right arm "Long Tom."

Also, did you know that when Dan O'Dowd took over as GM of the Colorado Rockies on Sept. 20, 1999, the Ivan Rodriguez MVP year Rangers were 89-61 and heading toward their third AL West title? Since then, the Rockies have had a grand total of four winning seasons -- out of 14 -- and two of those seasons were with 82 and 83 wins respectively. Dan O'Dowd has better job security than a Justice of the Supreme Court.

P.S. This is where Elvis Andrus lives.

This $3.7M Dallas home is more than 7,000 square feet and features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one half bathroom, four living areas, a hidden office, media room, mud room, wine cellar, pool house, guest suite, private lake and more.

You can't trade Elvis. He has a mud room.
