Rumor: David Murphy close to a deal with Cleveland

Texas Rangers rumor of the night...David Murphy is supposedly close to a deal with the Cleveland Indians, according to folks on Twitter who, apparently, learned the news with Murphy's daughter told her teachers at school (or day care).  The relevant tweets:

All I can commit to is someone claiming to have heard from Murphy told me that he is signing with Cleveland. Do with that what you wish.

David Murphy informed his daughter's daycare that he is signing with the Indians. This is, again, per my source close to the situation.

Source @MattMcClelland says that Murphy's daughter told her teachers that her dad would be an Indian, and David confirmed it today.

The Cover The Bases person says in their Twitter bio that he/she is 12 years old.  So we've got a couple of people with a scoop from a day care, which is being confirmed by a 12 year old.

We shall see if this is one of the great moments of Twitter, or another false alarm.

UPDATE -- Evan Grant is reporting that, per a source, Murphy is close to a two year deal worth more than $10 million.
