Free agent catcher Brian McCann was a target of the Texas Rangers, and Texas was supposedly in the bidding until the end, when they decided the price was too high.

McCann ended up signing with the New York Yankees. It was a 5 year, $85 million deal with a vesting option for a sixth year at $15 million and a no-trade clause.

If McCann would have signed with the Rangers for that deal, would you have wanted the Rangers to do that?
