Keith Law has released his top 100 prospect list, and while Jurickson Profar is #1 on the list, I suspect Rangers fans may be a little disappointed in how the rest of the list shakes out.

The top five on the list are Profar, Oscar Taveras, Dylan Bundy, Wil Myers, and Xander Bogaerts.

After Profar, however, the next Ranger on the list is Mike Olt, who is all the way down at #71, well below where many other lists have him. Olt is behind, among others, Nick Franklin (at #69) and Jedd Gyorko (at #70). Franklin is a shortstop prospect who was among those dealt by Seattle to Arizona in the Justin Upton trade, only to have Upton exercise his no-trade rights, and Gyorko is a Padre third base prospect.

Behind Olt on the list are Cody Buckel, at #90, and Martin Perez, at #93. Law has Buckel rated more highly than the consensus does, and has him as the #3 prospect in the Ranger system.

Also, Law specifically says he only includes players who have rookie eligibility remaining, so Leonys Martin was not eligible.
