9-5 - Texas Rangers Defeat Chicago Cubs as Beltre Goes Mighty Over the Ivy

Four runs is the new ten runs!

Derek Holland went 7 scoreless innings - allowing only 2 hits, zero walks, and collecting six strikeouts - to pick up a well deserved first win of the season and keep his solid April rolling.

Under the menacing glower of cold weather hitting, the Rangers finally got a big hit in the from of an Adrian Beltre two-run long ball in the 8th. What was particularly impressive about that home run is it seemed like a night where hitting one out was an impossibility given the frigid conditions.

The less we speak about that 9th inning, the better.

Player of the Game: Craig Gentry's beautiful, sexy body. Bless his heart.
