Angels reliever Mark Lowe to the disabled list

Mike Scioscia has announced that reliever Mark Lowe is going on the disabled list

USA TODAY Sports

Bill Shaikin has just tweeted that Angels manager Mike Scioscia has just informed reporters that Angels righthanded reliever Mark Lowe is going on the disabled list with neck stiffness.

Lowe, who came over to Texas from Seattle in the Cliff Lee trade in 2010 and who had two unimpressive seasons in the Ranger bullpen, was signed by the Dodgers this spring on a minor league deal, was then released by the Dodgers on March 24, and then was signed by the Angels on March 27 to supplement their bullpen.
