NBA Center Jason Collins: "I'm Gay"

In a cover story this week for Sports Illustrated, veteran NBA Center Jason Collins publicly acknowledges that he is a homosexual.

I believe Collins is the first active player in one of the "Big Four" sports in the U.S. to come out. As a result, this is fairly big news.

Hopefully, we're not too far from the day where this will be a non-story, but for now, it is kind of a big deal.
