The Alexi Ogandno-no was not in the cards, but the Rangers were able to ride the talents of Nelson Cruz (a three-run missile in the top of the 5th, and rally-killing two-out diving catch in the bottom of the 6th) to a series win.

The Rangers are now up 7 games on the A's in the AL West.
