Leonys Martin left today's game between the Rangers and the Blue Jays in the 8th inning after landing on his wrist on an unsuccessful attempt to make a diving catch on an Edwin Encarnacion line drive.
Had Leonys made the catch, it would have been the third out of the inning, and preserved a 1-1 tie. Instead, it went for a double and gave the Jays a 3-1 lead.
John Blake has tweeted that x-rays on Martin's wrist are negative, and he's day-to-day at this time with a sprained wrist.
