Rangers To Recall Martin Perez, Mitch Moreland To Be Activated

Per Anthony Andro, the Rangers are calling up Martin Perez to start on Saturday and replace Josh Lindblom in the rotation.

Martin Perez will start Saturday for Rangers. Tepesch Sunday and Darvish Tuesday.

Darvish was originally slated to start on Sunday but the Rangers are giving him a couple of days of extra rest.

Also, Mitch Moreland has finished his rehab stint and will return to the club in time for this weekend series in St. Louis. Finally the Rangers will have their full and healthy lineup, it seems. It's been a while.

Rangers will have to make another move Saturday to make room for Martin Perez.

If I had to guess, that move will be sending Joseph Ortiz back to Triple-A.
