Former major league pitcher Justin Miller was found dead Wednesday night, according to the Tampa Bay Times. He was 35 years old.
Miller pitched with the Blue Jays, Marlins, Giants and Dodgers between 2002 and 2010. He is most well known for having MLB mandate that he wear long sleeves when he pitched, so that hitters would not be distracted by his arms, which were covered with tattoos.
Miller spent part of the 2011 season pitching for AAA Round Rock. This sometimes caused confusion, as the Rangers had (and still have) another minor league pitcher named Justin Miller who was, at the time, pitching for them in Frisco.
