The Texas Rangers Draft Travis Demeritte At #30

Travis Demeritte is the second player picked by the Rangers in the 2013 draft, at #30

With the 30th pick of the 2013 MLB Draft, the Texas Rangers selected high school shortstop Travis Demeritte out of Georgia.

Demeritte is a 6'1", 185 lb. shortstop who is expected to move to third base as a professional. He's athletic, raw, and projectable, with plus raw power and a plus arm.
