Alexi Ogando questionable for Monday's start

The Rangers have announced that Alexi Ogando is questionable for his start Monday

And the hits just keep on coming...

The Rangers have announced (per the various beat reporters on Twitter) than Alexi Ogando, newly off the disabled list because of triceps tendinitis, is questionable for his start on Monday after cutting his start short because of biceps tendinitis.

Martin Perez started yesterday for Round Rock, so if Ogando can't go, Perez would not be an option.

Josh Lindblom is scheduled to start for Round Rock tonight, but it wouldn't surprise me if he ends up not going so that he can potentially pitch on Monday.

In addition, Evan Grant has tweeted that Michael Kirkman left the stadium with his luggage, and it appears he's either being put on the disabled list or designated for assignment so that the Rangers can bring another pitcher up for the bullpen tomorrow.

A move involving Kirkman would not be surprising, given his struggles this season. Evan speculates that Kyle McClellan could get the call to replace him.

UPDATE -- Josh Lindblom has been scratched as tonight's start for Round Rock, per Evan Grant.
