It's tough to feel too terrible about a four-game split on the road against a good Orioles team. It's especially not surprising when you consider Josh Lindblom and Ross Wolf started the games that the Rangers lost.
As it stands, the Rangers are now a full game back of Oakland with three games left to play before the All-Star break. Considering 80% of the Rangers' Opening Day rotation is currently on the disabled list, it's easy to imagine how things could be worse.
Player of the Game: Ross Wolf allowed two home runs, but, other than that, he did exactly what the Rangers needed with a spot starter on the mound for a second consecutive day. Wolf went six innings, pitched well, and kept mileage off the bullpen. It's a shame that the Rangers couldn't get him a couple more runs.
