56-45 - Matt Garza is Marvelous in Debut as Rangers Best Yankees

I dogged on A.J. Pierzynski for DHing and hitting fifth tonight against a left-hander. So, of course, A.J. goes 2-4 with a dong and drives in two of the Rangers three runs. Of course, of course.

For the first time in a while, three runs was enough.

Player of the Game: This was Matt Garza's night as the newest Ranger showed why Texas paid a steep price to acquire him. Garza went 7 1/3 innings and allowed only one unearned run while striking out five Yankees.
