One of the things that didn't make sense during Friday night's 11 inning loss to the Indians was Ron Washington asking Jason Frasor to go three innings in relief, despite Tanner Scheppers, Neal Cotts and Joe Nathan all being available.
Or at least we thought they were all available. However, that apparently wasn't the case. From T.R. Sullivan:
Tanner Scheppers was unavailable on Friday. Bruised and cut left eye and a headache. Details are unknown but Scheppers was unavailable
