Sullivan: Scheppers unavailable with "bruised and cut eye" and headache

Tanner Scheppers was unavailable for tonight's game, and the circumstances surrounding his unavailability are murky

One of the things that didn't make sense during Friday night's 11 inning loss to the Indians was Ron Washington asking Jason Frasor to go three innings in relief, despite Tanner Scheppers, Neal Cotts and Joe Nathan all being available.

Or at least we thought they were all available. However, that apparently wasn't the case. From T.R. Sullivan:

I don't know any more than that, but that certainly sounds strange. If more information comes out, we will share that then.
