A's acquire Alberto Callaspo from Angels for Grant Green

The Oakland A's have reportedly acquired infielder Alberto Callaspo from the Anaheim Angels for minor league shortstop Grant Green.

Callaspo has been playing third base for the Angels this season, but will move to second base for Oakland.

Callaspo, 30, has a .253/.323/.348 line this season, after putting up a .252/.331/.361 line for Anaheim in 2012. He is under contract for 2014 at $4.875 million, and will be a free agent after that season.

Green, 25, was the A's first round draft pick in the 2009 draft.
