Profar starts in left field tonight

Jurickson Profar's first action as a professional in the outfield will come tonight, as he will be starting in left field for the Rangers against Houston Astros lefthanded Dallas Keuchel.

With Jeff Baker and Craig Gentry on the disabled list, the Rangers' only righthanded hitting outfielder on the active roster is Nelson Cruz. Thus, Profar has been working with Gary Pettis in the outfield before games, in order to give the Rangers a righthanded option out there, as well as to give the Rangers another way to get Profar at bats.

With Profar playing left field, David Murphy is getting the day off. The full lineup:
