The Rangers have announced the players from the team's farm system who will be participating in the 2013 Arizona Fall League int he coming months.
The most notable names on the list are catcher Jorge Alfaro, infielder Ryan Rua, and pitcher Matt West.
Alfaro is considered one of the top prospects in the Ranger farm system -- arguably the top prospect, with Jurickson Profar and Martin Perez having graduated -- and will be the youngest player on the Surprise team.
Rua, who plays second base and third base, has put himself on the map this season with a 914 OPS for low-A Hickory prior to his late-season promotion to Frisco.
West is a former 2nd round pick from 2007 who converted to pitching, had a breakout year in 2011 as a reliever, and then has missed most of 2012 and 2013 with elbow problems.
Also on the AFL roster are lefthanded pitcher Will Lamb (a 2011 second round draft pick), righthanded pitcher Ryan Harvey, righthanded pitcher Nick McBride, and infielder Brett Nicholas.
