78-55 - For Rangers Fans, Felix Hernandez Tosses Another Perfect Game

The Rangers are now a season high 23 games above .500

Felix Hernandez exited the game today after three innings, which tied the shortest outing of his career. Felix allowed a career high eight earned runs. We just had the privilege of watching Felix Hernandez have the worst start of his career. Somehow this happened in a season where Felix Hernandez has probably been at his absolute best.

It makes sense that Felix's worst career start would come against the Rangers, though. After all, King Felix became the first pitcher to lose 20 times to the Texas Ranger franchise today.

And that's it for the Rangers against Seattle this season. After this series sweep, the Rangers finished the season series with a record of 12-7 against the Mariners.

We're now, at this moment, the furthest we could possibly be from watching Kyle Seager hit his next home run against Texas. Savor the moment.

Player(s) of the Game: The entire Texas Rangers offense.

In the last ten days, spanning three starts, the Rangers scored 38 runs in games started by Hernandez, Chris Sale, and Hernandez again. That's an average of 12.7 runs per game against elite American League pitchers. Now I would like for them to explain that whole one run off of Erasmo Ramirez thing.
