It took seemingly dozens of hours, but the Rangers finally finished off their second sweep of the Angels in ten days. After falling behind the Oakland by six games on July 28, the Rangers have battled back to tie the A's in the West on August 7.

Amazing.

The Rangers stole 13 bases over the previous two games. When this series began, the Rangers were last in baseball in baserunning RAR by a fairly large margin. As this series ends, they're 26th and climbing.

This is fun.

The Rangers have scored 23 runs since Nelson Cruz was suspended. That's an average of over 7.5 runs per game. Are we certain Biogenesis wasn't affiliated with Papa John's?

Death nail?

Player of the Game: Basically, everyone. But Adrian Beltre went 3-4 with 4 runs scored, two walks, three RBI, and one home run while his kids were in the stands cheering him on.
