The Rangers waited out the Astros until they were forced to go to their atrocious bullpen and turned a 4-3 deficit into a 9-5 win. With the win, the Rangers move to within two wins of clinching the sacred Silver Boot for the 2013 season.
It's taken exactly one month to get back there, but the Rangers have once again evened their high water mark of 16 games above .500.
Player of the Game: Joey Butler drew a big walk in the four-run 8th inning and contributed a team-high two extra base hits (two doubles) in the first start of his Major League career. If Butler goes back to Round Rock, when Alex Rios joins the team tomorrow, he'll leave knowing that he helped the Rangers win a baseball game.
