Derek Holland Shakes Things up at Red Robin to Raise Funds for Tarrant Area Food Bank

MLB Pitcher Serves up Shakes for a Good Cause on National Chocolate Milkshake Day

WHO:  Derek Holland, Texas Major League Baseball pitcher

WHAT: Derek Holland will be serving up milkshakes and signing autographs at three local Red Robin restaurants on Thursday, Sept. 12, National Chocolate Milkshake Day. Participating Red Robin restaurants include Grapevine from 11 a.m.to noon, Arlington Highlands from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., and the newest Red Robin in Fort Worth at Hulen Mall from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

In addition, all seven Dallas/Fort Worth-area Red Robin restaurants will donate milkshake sales on Sept. 12, National Chocolate Milkshake Day, to Tarrant Area Food Bank, a regional food bank providing donated food and related services to 300 hunger-relief charities in 13 counties surrounding Fort Worth.

WHY: In an interview earlier this year, Derek Holland, Texas Major League Baseball pitcher, expressed his love of Red Robin’s milkshakes. In the spirit of National Chocolate Milkshake Day, Red Robin is honoring Derek’s love of milkshakes while supporting an important local cause, Tarrant Area Food Bank.
