There were seven players called up or activated by the Rangers yesterday for the September 1 roster expansion.
With the Round Rock Express seeing their season end today, the Rangers have announced three more players are coming to the majors: righthanded pitcher Ross Wolf and outfielders Engel Beltre and Joey Butler.
Wolf will likely work as a long reliever the rest of the way. Beltre will likely be utilized as a defensive replacement in the outfield and as a pinch runner, while Butler gives the Rangers an additional righthanded bench bat.
