Soto catches, Pierzynski DHs, Baker sits versus Vargas

In Game 162, Ron Washington keeps the Yu Darvish/Geovany Soto pairing together

In Game 162, Geovany Soto will be catching Yu Darvish, and A.J. Pierzynski will be the DH, despite the Rangers facing Jason Vargas, a lefthander.  Lefthanders have put up a 797 OPS against Vargas (whose changeup is more of a weapon against righthanders), compared to a 744 OPS for righties, although Vargas does not have reverse splits over the course of his career.
