Friday morning Rangers news and links

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Hi, guys.

Want to go see the Rangers play in 2014?  Your seat will likely be cheaper, as prices have been dropped on 94% of the seats at TBiA.

Rangers executive vice president for ballpark events and operations Rob Matwick says, in an article by Drew Davison on the lower seat prices and the offseason ballpark renovations, that they've gotten some negative feedback from fans about the departure of Nolan Ryan and the trades of Ian Kinsler and Craig Gentry.

T.R. Sullivan has a story on the renovation of the Diamond Club at TBiA, with the Diamond Club being renamed to the Jack Daniels Club.

Sullivan also writes that the Rangers will be using dynamic pricing in all sections in 2014.

Richard Durrett continues his spring training position preview, with a look at first base and a look at second base.

Evan Grant continues his roster analysis with a look at Derek Holland.

Keone Kela had a scoreless inning of work yesterday in the Venezuelan League playoffs.  Engel Beltre, on the other hand, got pulled from Licey's playoff game in the fifth inning because of mistakes.

And over at WFAA.com, Kate Morrison takes a look at second base prospect Ryan Rua.
