Saturday morning Rangers news and links

Jesse Johnson-US PRESSWIRE

Hello everyone.  Hope y'all are all having a good weekend so far.

Yesterday was the day for exchanging arbitration figures, and the Rangers settled yesterday with two of their three remaining arb-eligible players -- Neftali Feliz and Alexi Ogando -- before numbers were exchanged.

T.R. Sullivan has a story on the Feliz and Ogando settlements, as well as Mitch Moreland and the Rangers exchanging figures.  Moreland is asking for $3.25 million and the Rangers have offered $2.025 million, a pretty significant percentage spread.

Evan Grant's roster analysis continues today with a look at Ogando, who could be in the rotation or in the bullpen.

David Schoenfield writes about the Rangers' roster turnover, and why that is a good thing.

Jeff Wilson has a story on Nolan Ryan returning to the Ballpark yesterday for the UT Arlington baseball banquet.

Sullivan also has a story on Ryan appearing at the banquet.  Gerry Fraley also has a piece on Ryan returning to Arlington.
